Transfer at a glance
Explore what you are looking for and ask detailed questions about the agency.
Meet the team and review your household, current approval and support needs.
Submit your transfer application and notify your current provider at the agreed point.
Complete a new Form F assessment, relevant checks and preparation.
The fostering panel considers the assessment before the final decision.
Resign from your current provider only when the new approval and transition are ready.
A child in placement
If you are caring for a child, a protocol meeting is arranged with their local authority, your current fostering service and Organic Fostering. The group considers the care plan, relationships, support and whether transfer is in the child’s best interests.
No move should create avoidable uncertainty for the child. Communication, timing and continuity are planned carefully before a formal transfer takes place.
