Organic Fostering’s mission is to support every child and young person’s development by matching them with carers equipped to meet their care, identity and relationship needs.
The service is grounded in acceptance, empowerment and excellence: valuing diversity, helping people develop, and continually strengthening the quality of care.
Services provided
One connected fostering service.
Matching and placement
Child-centred matching with attention to culture, religion, language, relationships and location.
Carer support
Supervision, out-of-hours advice, support groups, training, annual review and access to guidance.
Partnership working
Coordination with local authorities, schools, health services, families and specialist professionals.
Standards of care
Safety, dignity, equality and participation.
Children and adults should be treated with respect regardless of race, culture, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, age or family circumstance. Anti-discriminatory practice is part of staff and carer learning.
Where it is consistent with a child’s welfare, the service seeks to maintain sibling, family and community relationships, minimise disruption to education and health care, and listen to the child before and throughout a placement.
